Megamik built-in fireplaces are constructed with refractory materials and fireclay heat storage, so they retain warmth after the fire has gone out. The final finish can be stone, fireclay stove tiles or stove plaster.
A fireplace can heat the main room or several rooms through warm-air ducts. A central heating system powered by a fireplace is also possible, in collaboration with a trusted heating installer.
An open fireplace can be renovated with a bespoke fireplace cassette, a standard cassette or glazed doors. This improves efficiency and safety. After installation, we light the first fire and explain how to use it.
