Frequently asked questions.

The stove maker always confirms the final dimensions and technical requirements for the specific appliance and building.

What needs to be prepared in the room?

A chimney, a cold-air supply and suitable floor reinforcement where the stove or fireplace will stand.

What chimney do you recommend?

For smaller stoves and cookers, generally Ø 160 mm; for larger fireplaces, up to Ø 250 mm. We always confirm the exact diameter and height for the selected appliance.

What about the air supply?

It is essential in modern buildings. For stoves and fireplaces, it is usually Ø 125 or 150 mm; for freestanding fireplaces, often Ø 100 mm.

What is the difference between a traditional stove and a warm-air stove?

A traditional stove is designed for regular firing and slow heat release; a warm-air stove heats the room faster, while its fireclay components retain the warmth.

What affects the price?

Size, output, shape, finish materials and colour, construction complexity, and any additional heated sections or rooms.

What is an H₂O fireplace?

A fireplace that heats the room and also heats water for domestic use or for radiators or underfloor heating.

Is a water-heating fireplace also suitable for renovation?

Yes. During renovation, the existing central heating system can remain, while the heat source in the main room is replaced.
